The Learning Tree Childcare is a preschool nursery based in Isleworth, catering for children aged from 6 months to 5 years old. We have been based in the area since 2008.

We enjoy an enviable reputation due to the quality of the care we deliver, how happy our children are, and the dedication and loyalty of our staff.

Our ethos is a mix of old and new. We have embraced the concepts of child led learning, placing emphasis on responding to the child and their interests. Their play harks back to days where they feel like every day is a real adventure and challenge.

Child led learning is nothing new. It is at the bedrock of Montessori, for instance, which was years ahead of its time. Today’s thinking however goes beyond that and does its best to match the fullest extent of the imagination and desire of the children themselves.

The Learning Tree Childcare has led the way in innovation by embracing an outdoors culture for our children. We are pioneers of the Forest School concept in The London Borough of Hounslow and lead the way on this, helped in large part by the unequalled outdoor space that we enjoy. The families that have come to our setting have embraced the healthy and hardy benefits of outdoor play, from playing in our mud kitchen, building real fires, sawing wood, building outdoor shelters, digging, creating, and playing outdoors.

As a nursery we work very hard to employ and retain the right staff who believe in our ethos of promoting the concept of Forest School and emphasising the importance on physical activity.

Some of our staff have been with us for years, since they started working in fact. We have placed a great emphasis on growing and developing our staff. Our staff are made up of a team of graduate qualified staff, EYP, and staff training to complete their Level 3 qualification as well as senior undergraduate staff. We are a highly trained, educated, and experienced team.
